Did I mention I turned 30?

Well I did. Back in June. Turn 30. In June. I could not be more thrilled.  Thank you Jesus for 30 years on earth.  For the most wonderful, honorable, amazing husband.  For my 3 beautiful, precious daughters.  For life overseas in S. Asia.  Thank you that the preceding list is the main way you humble me, check my sin, expose my dirt and draw me closer to you.  Thank you that life is hard, but so, so sweet, too.

Happy birthday! 30 years of proving Him faithful! Can I quote you on the "main way you humble me ..."?

Looking forward to what Jesus will do in your life this year and in the next 30, if He tarries.

Here's to 30 more, and then 30 more after that. Love you so much.

p.s. that first picture of you is STUNNING. I mean it...really, really beautiful. You radiate joy and beauty and grace. :)

Even more beautiful now than when I met you half our lifetime ago in Mrs. Bennett's class. I'm sure at the time I couldn't have imagined you growing any more beautiful than you already were since I was already mesmerized by you. The freckles, the flaxen hair, those ocean eyes, a perfect nose, quick wit and self-deprecating humor. And yet, here you are. Beyond lovely. Don't you think this side of 30 is even better than the other?

I love the above commenter :) You are indeed quite lovely, Maggie. I just tagged your blog with an award (whenever you get around to blogging again and you are inclined to answer lots of questions and post them, well you can thank me then, haha.) Details on my blog!
