What Christ Said

by George Macdonald

Thanks for sending it along, Mom. It speaks to me now. Oh how I long to see the fields again.

I, too, longed for space... and vistas! His grace was sufficient. Not always easy, but sufficient. And you will see things far better than fields.

I read a book once titled "You Will See Hoopoes." May the Giver of all good gifts give you many hoopoes (a distinctive bird found only in the author's country of service)!

She wrote: "He would show me aspects of his beauty in Turkey that he wouldn't be able to show me if I stayed in Britain."

Maggie, thank you so much (and your mom) for sharing this. It means a lot as we enjoy our last month of clean air before we head to bj. I know I will revisit this poem often. Love you.

Jen told me about this poem last night (through tears) and now I know why....it was simply beautiful....and now I have tears....

I am so thankful you will be writing here. We'll be reading and praying.
