This past weekend, May 4, 5, 6, we went down to the town that houses our histories: Miami!! Both of our grandparents (Bill Iverson and Annette Billings Hartley) grew up in Miami, FL and it's thanks to their ingenuity and matchmaking connivance that we're together today. :) It was a great weekend of fun, fellowship, and family as we celebrated the 80th reunion of Shenandoah Presbyterian, the church Jonathan's great grandfather, Dan Iverson I, founded in 1927. He also wrote that good old tune:
"Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me. Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me.
Break me. Melt me. Mold me. Fill me. Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me."

Here's a photo of mom and me in front of the house I lived in for the first three years of life:
PREGNANCY POST:

When Eric, Sara and Noa visited us in late March/early April, we decided to play a big April Fool's joke on the Iversons in Japan by calling them on April Fool's day and telling them that we had just found out we are pregnant! Both couples pretended to be pregs for the sake of the holiday. Weren't Jonathan and I shocked to find out a few weeks later that we actually ARE pregnant! Wow...so much for April Fool's Day. We're due December 16. Get excited for Baby Iverson!
We found the greatest park...although, adults had to be accompanied by a child. Fortunately, we had Noa to give us some credibility when we played on the park equiptment.
More pictures of our niece Noa, her mommy Sara Beth, her daddy, Eric and her Aunt Maggs and Uncle Jon at Lake Eola...late March, early April.

He is risen! Christ is risen indeed! While we are without any pictures of this glorious occasion, we do have some lovely photos of those with whom we spent the holiday this year. Clad in pastels and sweet smiles, the Iversons enjoyed Easter Sunday with some close friends at the home of Maggie's parents, the McDougalls. We were so blessed to spend the time with several seminary families from RTS, where Jonathan attends. We loved our time with the Druens, the Dyers, Phil, the Garmanys, the Leonards, the Maynards, the Coverstones (pictured below) and the Iversons (above). Praise Him.
